The Sofia Appeal Court refused to release Eyup Temiz, accused of the murder of businessman Slavi Binev, and left the measure of „detention under custody“ in place.
Sofia Appeals Court has ordered Eyup Temiz, charged with the murder of businessman Slavi Binev, to stay in custody. The judges ruled at a closed hearing.
The court said Temiz might hide or commit another crime if he were free.
Binev was killed at his home on 24 October. Police arrested Temiz just an hour later.
Two other people detained with him later became witnesses in the case.
