Dimitar Nikolov makes a serious vow ahead of "Eurovision 2027"

Burgas Mayor Dimitar Nikolov has drawn a definitive line between his work on organizing the "Eurovision 2027" song contest and his political ambitions. At an official press conference, he stated that he would not comment on any political topics until May 15.

"I have made a vow to myself not to engage in politics until May 15," Nikolov emphasized in response to a question about a possible presidential candidacy.

Main priorities for the Mayor of Burgas:

• Strict compliance with the requirements of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and BNT.
• The fastest possible implementation of all preparatory activities.
• Ensuring excellent conditions for the city's guests so they are impressed by Bulgaria's hosting.

Nikolov was firm that until the end of the contest, he would only answer questions related to his operational work as mayor and the preparation of the event. "The topic of politics does not interest me at all, nor do I want to deal with it," he added, reinforcing his focus on the success of the musical event.
