For us, the European identity and Euro-Atlantic belonging of our country are an undeniable and non-alternative path from which Bulgaria should not deviate, and it should not be allowed to be shaken from this value choice, said the leader of DPS Delyan Peevski in a statement distributed by the party's press center.

And in the new parliament, we will consistently continue to defend and support people with our policies – in the social sphere, regional development, agriculture and local government, Peevski points out.

For DPS, the election result is a clear sign that our voters did not succumb to the unprecedented pressure, once again entrusted us with the responsibility for their future and obliged us to continue to defend our cause – the people and their better and higher quality of life, Peevski states. We have proven many times that we do not divide people either by ethnicity, or by faith, or by whether they are in small or large settlements – cities or villages, he adds.

The leader of DPS notes that the Bulgarian voters "with a respectable result" have given their trust to Rumen Radev. "This is their decision as to who will bear the responsibility, having a stable and categorical majority, which must take over the management of the state, to lead Bulgaria through the severe crisis and the trials that are happening because of the complicated international situation and the reflection of the crisis on the life and existence of Bulgarian citizens", comments Peevski.

According to 100% processed protocols of the section election commissions, "Progressive Bulgaria" with leader Rumen Radev wins the early parliamentary elections. Second is the coalition GERB – SDS, and third – that of "We Continue the Change – Democratic Bulgaria". DPS is the fourth political force in the future parliament, and fifth – "Vazrazhdane" (Revival).
