The Bulgarian Development Bank has selected three candidates for its management

New Management at the Bulgarian Development Bank

The Bulgarian Development Bank (BDB) has successfully completed its first fully open competitive procedure for the selection of a new member of the Management Board and Executive Director. The bank has presented three candidates to the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB), who are currently undergoing regulatory assessment.

The procedure was conducted in full compliance with the Credit Institutions Act, European regulations, and the audit recommendations of the National Audit Office.

Who are the finalists?

• Angel Naydenov: An expert with over 30 years of experience in the banking sector, with a focus on credit portfolio management and working with small and medium-sized enterprises.
• Kostadin Karanlakov: A professional with thirty years of experience in banking services, process management, and working with corporate clients.
• Nadya Koshinska: An expert with many years of experience in senior management positions, specializing in corporate banking and the management of credit institutions.

Interest in the competition was significant, with a total of 27 applications received on time from proven experts in the financial and public sectors. The selection is directly linked to the upcoming rotation in the BDB's management, as the current Executive Director, Ivaylo Moskovski, has been nominated for Vice President of the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank.
