Bulgaria in Top 10 Countries with the Most Congested Roads

Bulgaria ranks in the top half of the world ranking for countries with the busiest roads, according to the results of a new international study.

The analysis, conducted by the car rental price comparison, places our country in tenth place on the list. The study is based on a survey of the company's customers who have used the services " in different countries.

The ranking was compiled based on the ratings of thousands of drivers. The company specifies that a total of 12,015 vehicle drivers participated in the survey. They rated the traffic congestion on a scale of 0 to 10, where 0 represents completely calm traffic, and 10 " extremely busy. The results obtained were used to determine the top 20 countries in the ranking.

According to the data, Bulgaria is rated with a score of 6.36 points, which positions it in tenth place on a global scale. Analysts note that this result suggests that when traveling to the Bulgarian capital or other large cities, it is advisable to plan the route in advance. This includes avoiding peak hours to reduce the risk of traffic jams.

A neighboring country also enters the top ten, ranking fifth and scoring higher than Bulgaria. Albania leads the ranking, receiving 7.14 points. Montenegro is in second place with 7.12 points, and Morocco is in third place with 6.91 points. They are followed by Germany with 6.74 points, Turkey with 6.71 points, Poland with 6.67 points, Mauritius with 6.63 points, Canada with 6.56 points, and France with 6.45 points.
