Fish and Wine Festival 2025 in Burgas: Program and Dates

Burgas is preparing for a five-day festival of fish and wine, which promises to combine culinary delights, a rich cultural program, and unforgettable entertainment. From September 4 to 8, 2025, the Sea Garden near the Flora Expo Center will once again become the stage for one of the most anticipated festivals in the region, bringing together over 200 artists and thousands of visitors.

Admission to the event is completely free, which is expected to attract both local residents and city guests.

Kickoff with Folklore and Football

The festival will start on September 4, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. with an opening ceremony. The stage will be filled with the authentic sounds of local folklore formations such as "Zlatni kestenii" and "Marinkyuvska rosna kitka," who will create a festive atmosphere. The evening will continue with concerts by the band BGZ and the Karandila Orchestra, who are known for their ability to ignite the audience. For sports fans, a special surprise is planned - the opportunity to watch live, on a large screen, the 2026 World Cup qualifier match between the teams of Bulgaria and Spain. The event is expected to gather many people in front of the stage, united by the emotion of music and football.

Mediterranean Rhythms and Culinary Duels

On Friday, September 5, the program will focus on wine culture. Visitors will be able to enjoy tastings and games with the audience, titled "In Vino Veritas". The day will continue with dance performances by "Kalliope Dance" and melodies from the vocal group "Morski pesachinki." One of the highlights of the evening will be the concert of the Greek performer Sakis Verros and his band, who will bring hot Mediterranean rhythms and lift the mood.

Saturday, September 6, is dedicated to family and culinary arts. Children will have fun with a puppet show, a magic show, and competitions, and the program will be supplemented by concerts from local and visiting amateur ensembles. Special attention will be paid to the culinary demonstration by Zlatina Lewis. The evening will end with a concert by the band "Goresht piasak" and the unforgettable Mimi Ivanova, who will gather generations of Burgas residents in front of the stage.

Sunday, September 7, is the day for culinary competitions and wine tastings. The central event will be the traditional Competition for "Best Fish Soup," where participants will compete in the mastery of preparing this local specialty. The secrets of fish soup will be revealed during a culinary demonstration led by proven professionals. Among them are Dr. Marianna Alexandrova, winner of MasterChef 2023 and a lecturer at higher education institutions, as well as Chef Kaloyan Kolev - winner of the title "Best Paella Master in Bulgaria for 2025." The evening will end with concerts by the band Da Seed and the audience favorites from "Obraten efekt."

Grand Finale

The last day of the festival, September 8, will be a real celebration for the whole family. The program will offer activities for the little ones, a children's and soap show, as well as a sea quiz. The colorful program will be enriched with performances by dance formations. The grand finale of the festival will include an impressive fire show, a concert by the band Dèjà vu, and the folklore performance "Bulgaria in My Soul" by DesiSlava.

The Fish and Wine Festival is establishing itself as a celebration of culture, traditions, and cuisine that attracts tourists in September. Five days filled with delicious seafood delicacies, exquisite wines, and an incredible atmosphere are expected to bring many positive emotions to all visitors.
