The Bulgarian feature film "German Lessons" directed by Pavel Vesselinov will be included in the official selection of the 41st Munich Film Festival, which will take place in June-July 2025. The film will compete in the "International Independents" program along with other European and global independent productions.
New historical maps of Bulgaria and the Balkans present 25 years of cartographic activity.
On June 25, 2025, an exhibition will be opened, presenting 29 new historical maps compiled over the past 25 years by Dr. Dragomar Yordanov, a historian and specialist in the field of historical geography and cartography. The exhibition will be opened in the building of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and will be accessible to visitors until July 4, 2025.
Burgas welcomes the "FANTASTIC" festival for literature and technologies of the future
On June 27 in Burgas the first edition of the "FANTASTIC BURGAS" festival, dedicated to speculative literature and innovations, will be held. The event will present the new novel by science fiction writer Marin Troshanov, and the host will be the renowned film critic Blagoy D. Ivanov.

The annual underwater sports competition "The Golden Dolphin" will be held on June 21 and 22 in Burgas. The organizers are the Bulgarian National Association for Underwater Activities and the "Friends of the Sea - Burgas" Association. The event will include various disciplines, divided into four age groups, with the participation of divers, swimmers, and individual competitors.
