Booky Fest 2026: How Ideas Shine – a Festival of Technology, Education, and Creativity in Burgas

On May 16, 2026, the second edition of the educational festival “Buki Fest: How Ideas Shine” will be held in the Congress Center Burgas – an event that combines technology, education, and creativity, organized by “Telerik Academy School” and the educational platform Buki.bg.

The event is realized with the support of Burgas Municipality, which continues to encourage innovation in education and the development of young talents. The date of the event is not accidental – May 16 is International Day of Light, which inspires the festival's theme – how ideas are born, developed, and “shine” to change the world around us.

Following the successful first edition in April 2025, the festival will once again bring together students, teachers, technology companies, and inspiring personalities from all over the country. Within the framework of “Buki Fest: How Ideas Shine,” students from different age groups will present their projects created under the Buki programs. They will demonstrate solutions in the form of computer games, websites, 3D models, technological prototypes, and ideas for a sustainable future.

The projects will be exhibited in an expo zone where visitors, parents, teachers, and partners will have the opportunity to meet the teams and be inspired by their work. All attendees will be able to vote for the projects that have impressed them the most. Many awards, interactive activities, and surprises will contribute to the festive atmosphere of the festival.

The event program will also include inspiring lectures and conversations with experts and leaders from various fields, who will share their experience and encourage young people to develop future skills and follow their ideas. “Buki Fest” aims to create a space for the exchange of ideas, collaboration, and inspiration, showing how school can be a place for technology, creativity, and real solutions when students and teachers work together.

Lidl Bulgaria will take care of the delicious lunch and the energy of all participants and guests. And thanks to the partners of the “Telerik Academy” Foundation and the Buki platform - Acronis, Cargill, HP Inc. Bulgaria, ICT Strypes, Postbank, PLAN A, Progress Software, Pwrteams, Siemens Bulgaria, SiteGround, Speedy, StorPool Storage, Verto Digital - awards will be provided for the most inspiring student projects.
