On April 24, 2026, a joint exhibition by Nikolai Buzov and Ivan Totev will open at the Dechko Stoev City Art Gallery in Pomorie. Presenting painting and sculpture, the artists offer a creative "conversation" about personal dynamics and the exploration of territories in art.

On April 24, 2026 /Friday/ at 6:00 PM in the City Art Gallery “Dechko Stoev“ - Pomorie, Nikolay Buzov and Ivan Totev will present their third joint exhibition - painting and sculpture. Creatively connected over the years, the artists already have an established tradition of selecting and showcasing their works in various spaces and galleries in the country.

Not only colleagues, but also close friends, they do not seek analogy or synchronicity between themselves. On the contrary, each of their exhibitions is rather a unique meeting and an improvised “conversation“ about personal dynamics, about the explored and established territories, about the rhythm and direction in art. The explicit agreement of the authors is for the works to be shown in a new place and to a different audience. In the current exhibition in Pomorie, Nikolay Buzov and Ivan Totev stand side by side again, without comparing themselves, grouping or creating the recently topical projects and concepts. In the exhibition, the authors present works from different years and creative periods, covering the newest works, just leaving the studios, together with works that have long been recognizable in the exhibition halls in the country.

With exceptional methodicalness, Ivan Totev unfolds the semantic field of the image, seeking gradation and comparison of one plan with another, while maintaining the overall imagery and compositional balance. The creative impulse of Nikolay Buzov is directed towards the infinite spaces of the structured form and the unfathomable mystery of infinity. This is how the art critic, curator and critic Diana Draganova-Stir comments on the two authors.

Абе, хора, видях новината... Изложба в Поморие, Бузов и Тотев, щом СА хубави неща, дано пък си заслужава да се ходи! Аз лично обичам да видя нещо българско, да подкрепяме местните таланти. Важно е да има култура и изкуство в малките градове като Поморие, за да нямаме само все за строежи и бетон.

Абе, хора, радвам се, че в Поморие ще има изложба! Хубаво е да се подкрепя българското изкуство, особено когато сме толкова близо до морето - винаги е приятно да видиш нещо красиво на фона на синьото. Дано не е само за туристи, а и местните да се 😏

Ами... четох новината за изложбата в Поморие. Хубаво е, наистина. Винаги е добре да има културни събития в малките градове, да се поддържа интереса към изкуството, особено с тази бурно развиваща се технологична среда, дето все по-малко хора търсят красота и смисъл в нещата.
