A Karnobat incident with an electric vehicle resulted in serious injuries for a 10-year-old child.
On May 25 in Karnobat, a 33-year-old man driving an electric vehicle with a 10-year-old child on board lost control of the vehicle, resulting in both of them falling to the ground. The child was admitted to the intensive care unit with a life-threatening skull fracture. The driver was tested for alcohol and drugs, but the results were negative.
Suspects arrested in Sunny Beach for drug possession
On May 26 in Sunny Beach, employees of the Regional Police Department - Nessebar stopped for inspection two men who were moving at night without reflective elements. During the search of one of them, a dry green herbal mass, presumably a narcotic substance, was found. The man was detained for 24 hours, and the investigation continues.

The debut edition of a student beach volleyball tournament will be held in Burgas on May 31 and June 1. The organizers of the event are the municipal enterprise "International Youth Cultural Center"-Burgas and the Burgas Beach Volleyball Club. The tournament will also include a charitable cause in support of 14-year-old Hristan Vasilev, who is fighting a rare and aggressive disease.

The driver refused to give a blood sample for analysis and was detained for 24 hours, with a fast-track case being initiated.
