The Black Sea Literary Festival brings together writers from five countries in a cultural dialogue.
The Second Black Sea International Literary Festival will be held from June 5 to 7 in Burgas. The event will bring together over 60 writers, translators, publishers and literary professionals from Bulgaria, Turkey, Ukraine, Georgia and Romania for discussions, literary readings and meetings with readers. The festival is organized by the Municipality of Burgas with the support of the Ministry of Tourism and in partnership with a number of institutions.

A renowned professor presents an innovative book on the history and civilization of Burgas.
Professor Nikolay Gochev from Sofia University will present his book "Historiosophy" at a special meeting in Burgas on June 11. The work examines various topics related to the development of civilization, such as ethnic groups, nations, peoples, antiquity, religion, and the state. The book is a collection of texts published in the media over the past 9 years.
The union through the eyes of three prominent authors
On June 2, the book "Three Perspectives on the Unification" by Milko Palangurski, Veselin Yanchev, and Petar Stoyanovich will be presented at the Literary Club "Peroto". The book offers new interpretations of the events surrounding the Unification of the Principality of Bulgaria with Eastern Rumelia in 1885, 140 years after the historical act.

Burgas again hosts the "Books for Trash" initiative to promote recycling and reading.

Today, on May 27, in Burgas, the official presentation of the participants in the XIX International Literary Festival "Holy Word" will be held. The event will take place in the courtyard of the Writers' House and will gather authors from Slovakia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, North Macedonia, Republika Srpska, as well as Bulgarian writers.
