Analog Odyssey: "The Road from Karakol"
In the era of digitally curated travels, Ivaylo Donchev takes us on a true adventure into the most remote corners of the world. After more than 500 days on the road and 150,000 kilometers traveled, a book was born that is much more than a travelogue.
Jungles, deserts, and peaks are just the backdrop for a deep philosophical narrative about human nature.
What to expect from the book?
- Honesty and naturalism: The author spares nothing – from the heights of euphoria to sharp pain.
- Clash of cultures: A journey through history, religion, and politics in sprawling cities and forgotten ruins.
- Personal transformation: A gaze directed simultaneously outward at the world and inward at oneself.
A cause with a mission
"The Road from Karakol" is not just an artistic expression. All proceeds from the book sales and the author's upcoming exhibitions will be donated to the "Operation: Teddy Bear" association, which supports talented underprivileged children.
