Mountain Rescue Service experts from the Bulgarian Red Cross confirmed optimal conditions for mountain tourism at the moment. Specialists informed journalists that the current meteorological situation is extremely suitable for mountain hikes and tourist activities.
The meteorological forecast, provided by the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology, predicts sunny weather with gradual development of cumulus clouds during the afternoon hours. The wind will be from the northeast, characterized by moderate to strong intensity.
In the mountain massifs, temperatures will vary in a favorable range. At an altitude of 1200 meters, the expected values reach around 25 degrees, while at 2000 meters the temperature will be around 17 degrees.
The rescue service emphasized that during the past day, no incidents or emergency situations have been registered, which further confirms the safety of the mountain environment.
It is recommended that tourists be prepared with appropriate clothing and equipment, taking into account the variable weather and strong winds in the high mountain areas. Despite the sunny weather, meteorological conditions require increased attention and adequate preparation.
