Burgas Airport officially registered an exceptional tourist success by welcoming its millionth guest this year, their representatives announced today. The strategic flight that will bring this memorable moment is directly arriving from the German city of Leipzig.

According to a statement from the airport management, the Electra Airlines plane is scheduled to land in the afternoon hours. This significant date comes just a year after last year's similar record, when the millionth tourist arrived from the British capital London.

Director Vasil Atanasov predicted such a development as early as February. At the end of May, he forecast an impressive growth of around 70 percent for passengers coming from Germany. The strategic partnership between Electra and SunExpress is defined as a key factor in achieving this result.
