Deputy Prime Minister and chairman of the "BSP - United Left" coalition, Atanas Zafirov, stated in Nikolaevo that there is no reason to reconsider their participation in the government, as social benefits are protected in the new draft budget. Asked whether "BSP - United Left" is ready for early elections, Zafirov replied that the topic of elections is always on the agenda in society and in politics. "We are always ready for elections, there is no reason to worry, because everything we do is public and for the society," he said.
The Deputy Prime Minister also commented on the protests demanding the government's resignation, pointing out that the coalition hears the people from the protests. "As you can see, a large part of the things that caused this tension are reflected in the budget, and the government's resignation is not on the agenda," he said.
