Detained with Money and Possessions in Elenite: Police Arrest Two Men

Two men, known to the police for criminal activities, were detained by law enforcement officers in the area of the Black Sea resort Elenite. As part of the operation, conducted by the police and gendarmerie, a significant sum of money and valuable items were discovered. This was announced by Senior Commissioner Vladimir Marinov, Director of the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior - Burgas.

According to Commissioner Marinov, "4500 euros were found with them - mainly banknotes of 500 and 200 euros. The banknotes are relatively new." In addition, other incriminating items were found on those detained. "We also found a large bunch of keys for secret locks, as well as a suitcase with two laptops, expensive perfumes, and luxury clothes," the police director specified.

At the place where the operation was conducted, the atmosphere was tense. Police teams continued their work, collecting evidence. The detainees were taken away for further actions.

A pre-trial investigation was immediately initiated on the case. Senior Commissioner Marinov emphasizes the seriousness of the situation and the need for an in-depth investigation. "Further procedural and investigative actions will be carried out. Traces and the origin of the items will be established," he said. Work on clarifying all the circumstances of the case continues.
