The airline Wizz Air has expressed serious concerns regarding recent changes to the European Union's passenger rights regulations. According to the carrier, the political agreement between the European Parliament and the Council of the EU could backfire and place a financial burden on millions of travelers.
Main concerns of Wizz Air
"The decision not to modernize a framework created 20 years ago fails to take into account modern challenges such as infrastructure limitations and geopolitical factors," the airline stated.

- Baggage pricing: The airline fears that restrictions on ancillary services will lead to an increase in base fares for all passengers.

Despite the criticism, Wizz Air welcomes the efforts toward better care for families, noting that it has long implemented a policy of seating children under 14 next to their parents free of charge.
