Weather Forecast: Sun and Afternoon Rainfall
Overnight, the weather will remain clear across most of the country. A light wind from the west is expected, according to the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH). Tomorrow will begin with sunny weather, with cloudiness temporarily increasing in the afternoon.
Maximum temperatures in the country will be between 24° and 29°, and around 24° in Sofia.
Where will it rain?
- Rila-Rhodope Massif and Eastern Bulgaria: Development of cumulus and cumulonimbus clouds is expected, with short-term showers. Thunderstorms are also possible in the northeastern regions.
- Black Sea Coast: Sunny before noon, with short-term rain and thunderstorms along the northern coast in the afternoon.
- Mountains: Afternoon showers are expected mainly in the Rila-Rhodope region, accompanied by moderate to strong winds at higher altitudes.
Outlook for the beginning of June
Sunday will be mostly sunny, but an unstable air mass will develop in the afternoon, bringing rain and thunderstorms. More unstable weather is expected at the beginning of June, mainly in Western and Central Bulgaria, with a risk of hail and intense rainfall until midnight.

Хм, интересно... Виждам, че прогнозата е доста динамична – слънце сутринта и валежи следобед. 29 градуса са приятни, но рискът от гръмотевични бури и градушка винаги трябва да се взема под внимание. Особено важно е за фермерите, както вече споменаха – градушките могат да съсипят реколтата.
