Weather Tomorrow: Cloudy with Precipitation, Temperatures to Drop

Today and tomorrow:

During the night, cloud cover will increase from the southwest. It will be mostly clear over the eastern half of the country. It will be almost calm. In the morning, visibility will be reduced in places in the eastern regions and along the Danube. Minimum temperatures will be between minus 2° and 3°, for Sofia – around 0°.

Tomorrow, cloud cover will be significant over most of the country. In the afternoon, in places, mainly in the mountainous regions of Western Bulgaria, there will be rain showers, and in the high mountainous areas – snow. A moderate east wind will blow. Maximum temperatures will be between 10° and 15°, for Sofia – around 12°.

On the Black Sea coast:

Before noon, there will be reduced visibility and low cloud cover in places. During the day, cloud cover will be more often significant. A moderate east-southeast wind will blow. Maximum temperatures will be between 8° and 10°. The sea water temperature is 7°-9°. The sea swell will be around 2 Beaufort.

In the mountains:

It will be mostly cloudy. In the afternoon, there will be rain showers in the massifs of Western Bulgaria, in places above 1300 meters above sea level – snow. A moderate and temporarily strong east wind will blow. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1200 meters will be around 7°, at 2000 meters – around minus 1°.

Wednesday:

Cloudy weather will prevail, and in places there will be light rain showers, in the mountains – snow. A moderate wind will blow, in the Danube Plain and Eastern Bulgaria – also temporarily strong, from east-northeast. Cold air will invade and temperatures will begin to drop – the maximums will be between 7° and 12°, and the minimums - between 0° and 5°.

Thursday:

It will be cloudy with widespread rain, in the mountains - snow. In the evening, with the continuing cooling in the Pre-Balkan region and in the high fields, the rain will begin to turn into snow. It will remain windy. The prevailing maximum temperatures will be between 4° and 9°, and the minimums – will not change significantly.
