Tomorrow at 4:45 PM, a vote of no confidence in the Zhelyazkov government will take place. The debates were heated, with accusations exchanged between parliamentary groups. The outcome will determine the political situation in the country.

Tomorrow, September 18, at 4:45 PM, a vote on the submitted motion of no confidence in the Council of Ministers, headed by Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov, will be held. This was announced by the presiding officer, Nikoletta Kuzmanova, after the end of the debates, which lasted over seven hours.

According to the rules of the National Assembly, the vote takes place 24 hours after the conclusion of the discussion.

Tension and Debates

The tension in the plenary hall was palpable throughout the day. The debates, which took place in an atmosphere of sharp political confrontation, were characterized by harsh remarks and mutual accusations between representatives of the various parliamentary groups. The topics covered a wide range of current political issues, with particularly strong discussion of criticism of the executive branch"s activities.

Initiators and Supporters of the Vote

The motion of no confidence, submitted last Friday to the office of the National Assembly, is an initiative of the coalition "Continue the Change – Democratic Bulgaria". It received the support of the parliamentary groups "Morality, Unity, Honor" (MECH) and "Alliance for Rights and Freedoms" (ARF).

To the surprise of many, both "Vazrazhdane" and "Velichie_q_, which are not among the proposers, announced their support for the vote of no confidence. This created an interesting political configuration, revealing the instability in parliamentary relations and the potential fragility of the ruling majority.

Consequences and Expectations

The vote will define the political landscape for the coming weeks and will show how much the stability of the current government is accumulating. Significant consequences for the political life in the country are expected, regardless of the outcome of the vote. Observers will follow the results and subsequent political actions with particular attention.
