An elderly man inflicts injury on his mother in Burgas

In the late afternoon of May 26, a report was received at the Second Police Station in Burgas about an incident in a private apartment in Block 3 of the "Slaveikov" complex. According to the information, a 61-year-old man with limited mobility, a dialysis patient, after a dispute over property, inflicted a stab wound with a knife in the chest area of his 81-year-old mother, with whom he lived together. The elderly woman was taken to the "Heart and Brain" Hospital, where it was found that the wound was superficial, without affecting internal organs and without direct threat to life. The pensioner was admitted for treatment. Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated in the case.
