Seven tax and finance bills, including the law on local taxes and fees, are on the provisional agenda for the cabinet meeting, the government press office said.
The others cover corporate income tax, personal income tax, excise duties and tax warehouses, accounting, and VAT. The seventh is the law on independent financial audit and sustainability assurance.
Ministers will also consider a draft decision on extra money for councils. It is for parents whose children did not get a place in a state or municipal kindergarten or school because there were no free spots. Councils will cover their costs. The payments cover the period from 1 July to 14 September 2026.
The cabinet will also consider bills to change the law on the State Agency for National Security (DANS) and the law on defence and the armed forces.
The government is also to decide on the preparation, delivery and coordination of Bulgaria's National and Regional Partnership Plan for 2028-2034.
Ministers also have before them a draft agreement between Bulgaria, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey on "strategic partnership in the field of clean energy".
Two reports are also due to be adopted: one on the state of disaster protection, and one on the priority work to cut disaster risk that needs funding in 2026.
The cabinet will also consider changes to its decision on the standing inter-agency working group for the National Risk Assessment on money laundering and terrorist financing.
