A deadly chain of events shook the highway between Varvara and Velingrad, when a young man from Dupnitsa lost his life in a solo accident. The incident, which occurred during a group motorcycle trip, turned into a tragedy that claimed a human life.
The initial assessment of medical specialists initially did not suggest a fatal outcome. The injured person was transported to the Multiprofile Hospital in Pazardzhik with visible injuries, including a broken leg, and doctors did not expect serious complications.
Subsequently, however, medical examinations revealed a significantly more complex picture. Internal injuries that were not immediately noticed turned out to be life-threatening. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, the 38-year-old man, a permanent resident of Sofia but originally from Dupnitsa, did not survive.
Law enforcement immediately took action to document the incident. The Regional Prosecutor's Office in Pazardzhik took supervision of the investigation, which was officially registered as a pre-trial proceeding.
