Fatal outcome following a car accident in the center of Burgas

The 47-year-old woman who was severely injured in a car accident at the intersection of "Hristo Botev" and "Knyaz Boris I" streets in Burgas has died. The incident, which shocked the city, occurred at approximately 10:42 PM on July 18.

The woman was struck on a pedestrian crossing by a passenger car with Burgas registration, driven by a 19-year-old man from the village of Galabets.

Condition and medical intervention

The victim was admitted as an emergency to the intensive care unit of UMBAL – Burgas with polytrauma and an immediate threat to her life. Despite the efforts of the medical team, the injuries proved fatal, and she passed away at the hospital.
