Incident on Maritsa Motorway ends without casualties

A serious accident blocked traffic at the 91st kilometer of the Maritsa motorway yesterday afternoon. A 52-year-old Turkish citizen lost control of his vehicle around 4:50 PM while heading towards the Kapitan Andreevo border crossing.

According to initial data, the driver crashed into the left guardrail, after which the car flipped onto its roof and entered the oncoming lane heading towards Sofia.

A medical team arrived at the scene immediately and provided assistance to the driver. Fortunately, he suffered only abrasions and did not require hospitalization.
