The Spinoff Europa technology conference is returning in 2025 in Sofia, with a focus on innovation and a sustainable future.

The international conference Spinoff Europa Conference 2025 is returning for its fourth edition, organized from June 19 to 20 in Sofia, Bulgaria. The event, hosted by the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), will take place at the GATE Institute of Sofia University and will bring together over 250 participants - scientists, entrepreneurs, institutions and investors.

The conference will be held under the motto "Innovating the Future: Digital, Green and AI-Driven Transformation in Europe". The main goal of the initiative is to create a sustainable spin-off ecosystem and culture that will lead to the creation of 100 new technology startups originating from science, universities or existing corporations by 2030.

The event program will include key panels and speakers from the European Commission, Horizon Europe, EIT, CEBR, ERC and other institutions. A "Spinoff of the Year" competition and awards, 360-degree laboratories in areas such as artificial intelligence, personalized medicine, clean technologies, cybersecurity and microelectronics, as well as interactive zones dedicated to AI and cybersecurity are also planned.

Participants will have the opportunity to participate in B2B meetings, learn about the opportunities of the Horizon Europe program, take part in brain games and networking events, as well as enjoy the Spinoff Party at the end of the forum.

The event is organized by the Biotechnology and Health Cluster, the Artificial Intelligence Cluster Bulgaria (AI Cluster Bulgaria), Venrize, ISTEB, the GATE Institute - Sofia University and the European Digital Innovation Hub "Trakia".

In addition to the conference, the BCCI also announces a number of other current news related to Bulgaria's membership in the eurozone, business forums and discussions, as well as the upcoming presidency of the country in the OSCE.
