Taxi cabs could be granted the right to drive in bus lanes, according to a new bill introduced by "We Continue the Change". The party's chairman, Assen Vassilev, clarified to journalists in parliament that each individual municipality will decide for itself whether and how this traffic will be organized.

Ivo Mihaylov from "We Continue the Change" described the proposal as beneficial, as it will provide a more predictable and cheaper commute for citizens. "Passengers using taxis will be able to get a predictable and cheaper ride, as they will not pay for time spent in traffic jams – this applies to parents with children heading to school, the sick, and tourists rushing to a station or airport," he stated. Mihaylov added that the change will also be significant for taxi drivers, who will not contribute to traffic congestion, while for municipalities, it will lead to easing heavy traffic.
