Students at Burgas Prof. Dr. Assen Zlatarov University's two new faculties can study and do work placements abroad under the Erasmus+ programme. Exchanges are open in any EU country, as well as in Turkey, Serbia and North Macedonia. They last from 2 to 6 months and come with a grant.

Senior assistant professor Dr Zlatina Nikolova, the university's Erasmus+ coordinator, presented the programme to students from the faculties of business and entrepreneurship and of pedagogical and humanities studies.

Students and lecturers can choose between three types of exchange: study, work placement and blended intensive programmes that bring together several fields of knowledge. Erasmus+ students have the right to stay in the host country and get a grant for their studies. The university has agreements with 87 institutions.

Dr Nikolova called on students to apply in the first years of their studies.

"To take up the chance to study in the EU, you have to take the first step. Get in touch with us!" Dr Nikolova said.
