Large-scale anti-drug operation in Sofia
Metropolitan police conducted a series of successful operations against drug distribution in the city. During one of the operations, officers from the Sixth District Police Department detained a 19-year-old youth in the area of Zhitnitsa Blvd.
During a personal search of the youth, three bags containing a white powdery substance, which tested positive for cocaine, were found, with a total weight between 30 and 40 grams.
The individual has been detained for up to 24 hours, and pre-trial proceedings have been initiated under Article 354a of the Penal Code. The investigation continues under the supervision of the Sofia City Prosecutor's Office.
More arrests in the capital
- Third District Police Department: Four people were detained in possession of various narcotic substances, electronic scales, and money.
- General Directorate of National Police: During an operation in the Nadezhda residential complex, a 40-year-old man was detained with a large quantity of drugs.
