A photo by Antonina Angelova from Nesebar took first place in the second "Postcard from Bulgaria" contest, the programme "Eva on Sunday" reports. Tourist sites are already handing out a postcard with the winning shot.

The Ministry of Tourism is patron of the initiative. Through authentic photo stories, the campaign aims to promote Bulgaria's tourist places and landmarks. Today's edition of the programme includes a meeting with the photographer.

Literary scholar and writer Katya Zografova is starting work on a book about Baba Ganka of Burgas, after whom a square in the city is named. Zografova is known for her interest in women in Bulgarian history. The programme explains who Baba Ganka was and why Zografova is writing about her.

Today's edition sounds different because of the election of Bulgaria's seventh president. Until 12pm it carries live updates on the vote and the voices of people who voted on voting machines. It also includes a conversation with sociologist Yanitsa Petkova of the "Myara" agency.

On 18 October, "Miss Bulgaria" runner-up Mariya Ivanova and a man from Burgas who lives in Finland were guests on "Eva on Sunday" on BNR Burgas.

Petya Yanakieva hosts the programme, and sound engineer Vanya Zheleva-Gensuzova handles the sound.
