Changes at "Avtomagistrali": Who are the new members of the Board of Directors?

New management at Avtomagistrali EAD

By order of the Minister of Regional Development and Public Works, Arch. Ivan Shishkov, the Board of Directors of Avtomagistrali EAD has been renewed. The changes have been officially entered into the Commercial Register, and the new management will lead the state-owned company until a competition is held.

"The new team combines expertise in road construction, law, and economic management," the ministry stated.

Who is joining the company's management?

• Eng. Ivan Kunev: Executive Director with many years of experience in road management and the construction sector.
• Nikoleta Bacheva: Engineer with over 10 years of experience in the maintenance of major Bulgarian motorways – Trakia, Hemus, Struma, and Maritsa.
• Mitko Mihaylov: Lawyer and economist with extensive management experience in state administration.
• Viktor Popov: Expert in regional development management and logistics processes.
• Ivelina Marinova: Retains her seat on the Board, ensuring continuity with her experience in finance and the oversight of road projects.

These changes are part of a large-scale reform in the road sector, which also includes the appointment of new management at the Road Infrastructure Agency (RIA), aimed at optimizing the processes for the maintenance and development of the country's road network.
