CITUB President Plamen Dimitrov clarified that more specific parameters could be expected by October 15, while also confirming that the state is planning reforms in several sectors, including the continuation of administrative reform.

Alongside fiscal issues, unions and the government discussed options for supporting society regarding fuel prices. In the context of this discussion, the chairman of the parliamentary Committee on Budget and Finance, Konstantin Prodanov from "Progressive Bulgaria", announced a few days ago that the state is preparing a package of targeted measures for businesses and those most in need, in case prices become unaffordable.

Regarding the effectiveness of previous efforts, Minister of Labor and Social Policy Natalia Efremova provided information that about 230,000 people received fuel assistance a few months ago. Plamen Dimitrov pointed out that the topic of new compensatory mechanisms will likely be the subject of further discussions at the Ministry of Finance, with the idea that the aid should cover both citizens and businesses.

Potential government fuel compensations will directly impact transport and heating costs for households and businesses in Burgas.

The chief economist of the Confederation of Labour "Podkrepa", Atanas Katsarchev, emphasized the social aspect of these measures. He stated that support should be prioritized for the most vulnerable groups of the population, calling on the government to find an adequate solution to overcome poverty.
