Another case of extremely irresponsible driving was recorded in the Black Sea city of Sozopol, where a woman with an unimaginably high level of alcohol intoxication caused a traffic accident.
The incident occurred on June 27 around 5:30 PM on Industrial Street, when the 43-year-old driver lost control of her car and crashed into a decorative wooden flower bed surrounding a local restaurant.
Police officers immediately arrived at the scene and conducted an alcohol test. The results were more than eloquent - the measured level reached an impressive 2.58 per mille, which far exceeds the permissible norm.
In an attempt to establish the full scope of the violation, the woman demonstrated extremely unreasonable behavior by refusing to provide a blood sample for additional chemical analysis.
As a direct result of her antisocial act, law enforcement immediately took action and detained her for the maximum legally allowed period of 24 hours.
The Burgas Police officially announced that a thorough investigation has been initiated to clarify all circumstances surrounding this dangerous incident.
This case once again demonstrates the exceptional risks arising from driving under the influence and the threat such drivers pose to public safety.
