Prime Minister Rumen Radev is convening a series of working meetings and sessions at the Council of Ministers today, focused on measures against high fuel prices, security, and anti-corruption efforts. The Prime Minister's agenda follows the priorities outlined yesterday during the National Meeting of the Ministry of Interior, which are focused on combating the abuse of power and the oligarchic model.

Decisions on fuel price regulation will have a direct impact on the family budgets and transport costs for the residents of Burgas and the region.

The schedule of meetings and sessions at the Council of Ministers today includes:

  • At 8:30 a.m., a meeting is being held to discuss the measures prepared by the institutions to address high fuel prices.
  • At 9:00 a.m., a meeting of the Security Council at the Council of Ministers will begin.
  • At 10:30 a.m., a ceremony will take place in the "Granite Hall" to award Ministry of Interior employees for their achievements in the fight against drug production and distribution.
  • At 11:00 a.m., a briefing is scheduled in the "Granite Hall" regarding the actions taken by institutions against corruption. The briefing will feature Prime Minister Rumen Radev, Interior Minister Ivan Demerdzhiev, Minister of Innovation and Growth Ivan Vasilev, and the Chair of the State Agency for National Security (SANS) Plamen Tonchev.
