Caretaker Government Discusses Important Issues: Railway Line, Annual Report and Others

The caretaker government of caretaker Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov held its regular weekly meeting.

The preliminary agenda, distributed yesterday by the government press office, includes 22 items.

Part of it is a draft Decision to approve the participation of "Bulgarian Energy Holding" EAD in the implementation of the project for the exploration and prospecting of oil and natural gas in the area "Block 1-21 Khan Asparuh".

The caretaker ministers will discuss the expropriation of properties - private property for state needs for the construction of the "Railway line Vidin - Sofia“ object, Vidin-Medkovets section. This is part of the project "Design of the construction of the railway line Vidin - Sofia: Project update and preparation of the railway section Vidin - Medkovets" in the lands of Brusartsi, Knjazheva mahala and Dýbova mahala villages, Brusartsi municipality, Montana region.

An annual report on the state of national security of Bulgaria in 2024 is also to be considered by the caretaker cabinet.

The agenda also includes Bulgaria's accession to the EC GOVSATCOM Initiative and the creation of a Competent Authority (CGA) within the Ministry of Innovation and Growth.
