Officers from the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior in Burgas, supported by the Gendarmerie, have conducted a series of specialized operations against drug distribution in the region. Within a single day, four individuals were apprehended across four separate incidents in Burgas, Sunny Beach, and Pomorie, the Burgas Regional Directorate of the Interior announced.

The first incident was recorded around 10:30 a.m. near block 65 in the "Bratya Miladinovi" residential complex in Burgas. A 31-year-old woman with a criminal record was identified there, and police officers discovered 1 gram of marijuana and 0.5 grams of methamphetamine in her possession. A few hours later, around 3:00 p.m. in front of the "Kavkaz" hotel in Sunny Beach, a 28-year-old man from Kableshkovo, who also has a criminal record, was detained while in possession of 5 grams of marijuana.

Active measures against drug distribution were also taken in Pomorie. Around 4:50 p.m. on "Graf Ignatiev" street, a 38-year-old man with a criminal record and prior convictions was caught with 1 gram of methamphetamine. Subsequent searches of his home revealed an additional 4 grams of a substance in white, yellowish, and red colors. Later that same day, around 8:00 p.m. on "Lule Burgas" street, a 36-year-old local resident with a criminal record was detained. He was found with 7 grams of methamphetamine and 3 grams of cannabis. Authorities noted the seizure of a significant quantity of narcotics during the operation in Pomorie.

As reported by the media, a significant quantity of drugs was discovered in Pomorie yesterday, and two more people were detained in the "Pobeda" district of Burgas due to narcotics. All seized substances were identified through field drug tests, and teams from the Burgas and Pomorie regional police departments are working on the cases.
