Following a series of large-scale police operations in Burgas and the surrounding region, a total of six people have been arrested for the distribution and possession of narcotic substances. The operations, conducted within a single 24-hour period, have uncovered serious trafficking and distribution networks operating in both urban and more remote areas. As a result of the intensive work of law enforcement agencies, significant quantities of amphetamine, methamphetamine, and cocaine were seized, along with tools used for their processing and sale.
Hidden Compartments and Large Shipments
One of the most significant operations took place near the Burgas neighborhood of "Vetren". There, officers from the Second Police Department stopped a car for a routine check. Despite the seemingly calm situation, the vigilant officers determined that the car, driven by a 25-year-old man from the village of Opanets, Pleven, was hiding more than just ordinary items. Two other people were also in the car—a 63-year-old man from Cherven Bryag and a 17-year-old girl from Pleven. During a thorough search, a specially built compartment was discovered, cleverly hidden under the boot liner. From this hiding place, two packages of a white crystalline substance, identified as amphetamine, with a total weight of about 500 grams, were seized. The compartment also contained another crystalline substance, methamphetamine, weighing about 10 grams, as well as an electronic scale, which is typically used for precise dosing of drugs for sale.
Home Laboratories and Packaging
Meanwhile, in another part of the city, officers from the "Pobeda" Police Section of the First Police Department conducted a search of the home of a 40-year-old Burgas resident. The investigation in this case led the teams to the address, where evidence of small-scale drug dealing was found. In the home, 23 sachets and a box containing a crystalline substance, which was identified as methamphetamine, were found and seized. The total quantity of the narcotic substance was about 60 grams. In addition to the drugs, an electronic scale and a sum of money were also found at the scene, further supporting suspicions of active drug dealing.
Drugs in a Residential Area
In a separate operation conducted in the town of Sozopol, a team from the Sozopol Police Department conducted a check in a private apartment on "Tsar Asen Veliki" Street. In the apartment, inhabited by two men aged 25 and 27, traces of cocaine use and storage were found. The police seized a lump of cocaine weighing about 14 grams, as well as a plate with residues of the narcotic substance, which added another 1 gram to the total amount.

All men and the minor girl involved in the three separate cases have been detained. Swift proceedings have been initiated in each of the cases, which is an indicator of the seriousness of the crimes and the quick actions of the authorities to conclude the investigations. These operations emphasize the police's determination to counter drug distribution, which remains one of the most serious problems for public health and security in the region.
