A successful start for future high school students in Burgas

Burgas Free University (BFU) became a center of knowledge, hosting the latest edition of the Secondary Education Panorama. The initiative, organized by the Regional Office of Education (RUO) – Burgas, brought students, parents, and representatives of leading schools together under one roof.

"Choose today. Succeed tomorrow" – the motto that inspired hundreds of 6th and 7th-grade students to make an informed choice for their high school stage.

What did the forum offer?

  • Presentation of over 26 educational institutions.
  • Information about profiles, professional directions, and specialties.
  • Direct consultations with experts on student career guidance.

The official opening was attended by Deputy Mayor Mihail Nenov, the head of the Regional Office of Education Valentina Kamalieva, and the Rector of BFU, Prof. Milen Baltov. The event highlighted the importance of the connection between secondary and higher education.

BFU – a host with a 35-year history

In addition to being a traditional host of the forum, Burgas Free University is celebrating 35 years since its establishment. The jubilee is accompanied by numerous initiatives, including student competitions for visual identity and contests in civil law.
