Pupils in years 6 and 7 at St Cyril and St Methodius primary school in Ravda combined maths, English, computer modelling and IT in an open lesson held in a digital setting. It took place on 13 October, during EU Code Week 2026.

The children played digital creators. They showed educational games, interactive tasks and apps that brought together knowledge, logic and imagination.

Teachers Elitsa Yakimova, Vesela Velikova and Sevdalina Masarlieva led the lesson. School managers, teachers and parents attended and watched the pupils put what they had learned into practice.

The school says linking subjects makes learning more exciting. It calls the approach modern and says it encourages links between subjects, independence and finding solutions to practical tasks.

The school also says such activities build digital skills, critical thinking and creativity, which it says matter more and more for young people's future careers.
