Sofia city prosecutors have charged a woman with possessing high-risk drugs with intent to supply, in a particularly large amount, and sent the case to the Sofia City Court.

The drugs are worth €1,300,062.44 and weigh 1,508.60 grams net.

Prosecutors say that on 11 May 2026 the woman kept fentanyl, a mix of heroin and fentanyl, cannabis, hashish and cocaine at a home in Sofia. They say she had no proper permit.

The defendant is in custody. The court has yet to set a date for a preliminary hearing.

On 12 October, prosecutors sent two men to trial in a separate case, for supplying cocaine worth nearly €150,000.
