To secure funding for sustainable and large-scale activities along riverbeds, the Municipality of Primorsko has been notifying the Interagency Commission annually since 2023, systematically submitting project proposals and requests. Currently, however, the local government relies solely on its own budget to finance the preventive measures already underway.

Workers have begun clearing the Ropotamo River in the section from the dam towards the settlement, with the goal of removing sediment and excess vegetation. Similar tasks are set to be carried out along the Dyavolska River, which runs through the Yasna Polyana area. The administration clarifies that these actions are necessary to improve water drainage during heavy rains, but they describe them as a partial measure that does not solve the problem permanently.
