Natalia Efremova: We are investing in young people through internships and new employment opportunities

Natalia Efremova's message for Youth Day

On International Youth Day, the Minister of Labor and Social Policy, Natalia Efremova, addressed the young people of Bulgaria with a message of faith in their own strength and abilities. In a video message, she acknowledged that the path to one's first job is often the most difficult.

I know that each of you is on your own path – some are looking for their luck abroad, others believe they can find it in Bulgaria, and still others are desperate due to a lack of prospects.

Opportunities for young professionals

Minister Efremova emphasized that the state is actively working on support programs that include:

• Paid internships in a real work environment
• Free training for acquiring new skills
• Supported employment for easier integration into the labor market

The Social Minister urged young people to be active, to stay informed about the measures offered, and to visit labor offices or the Employment Agency's website, where current job and internship openings are posted. "Study, believe in yourself, realize your dreams," Efremova concluded her greeting.
