Slashing in Burgas after a filming dispute

A report of an incident that disturbed the peace of the Sea Garden has been filed at the Fifth Police Precinct – Burgas. On September 16, at approximately 5:30 PM, an argument broke out, resulting in a cut.

According to police information, the incident occurred in the area of the parking lot in front of a hotel in the Sea Garden.

The altercation occurred between a 52-year-old parking lot security guard and a 33-year-old man from Sofia. The conflict escalated due to a dispute over unwanted mobile phone filming. During the argument, the security guard inflicted a cut on the Sofia resident"s abdomen.

Witnesses described a tense atmosphere, palpable in the otherwise calm afternoon. Many passersby were visibly disturbed by the unexpected turn of events.

Fortunately, the victim"s injury was not serious. Medical assistance was provided on the spot or sought independently. The police responded immediately, and the security guard was detained for up to 24 hours.

A pre-trial investigation has been launched to clarify the exact sequence of events and establish guilt. The investigation will focus on the circumstances surrounding the conflict, as well as the reasons that led to the use of physical force. At this stage, the investigating authorities have not released any details about the progress of the pre-trial investigation. All details are expected to be clarified in the coming days.
