A knife attack in a resort complex - a 25-year-old man was detained

Today in the early hours of the day in Sunny Beach, a 25-year-old man from Kazanlak attacked and stabbed with a knife a 21-year-old youth from Shumen. Employees of the "Special Tactical Actions" sector of the Burgas Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior have taken quick action and detained the attacker.

The victim was taken to a hospital, and his life is not in danger at the moment. Employees of the Nessebar Police Department and the Criminal Police Department of the Burgas Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior have carried out numerous operational search activities to establish and detain the perpetrator of the act.

The detained 25-year-old man has no criminal record and has not been convicted, the Ministry of Interior clarified. At the moment, a search is being conducted of the room he was staying in at a hotel located in Sunny Beach. The work on the case is ongoing.
