On April 23, Pomorie once again hosted the national "Asenevtsi" chess tournament. Children from the city took their seats at the board, and many of them showed they already think like true tacticians.

More than 150 children made their first moves at the tournament. Organizers gave everyone interested the chance to learn to play for free, through a four-month course.

Some of the children received special praise for their progress and for the way they thought during their games. The initiative in Pomorie continues to draw youngsters in the city, who once again had a reason to sit down at the chessboard thanks to the course.
