Critical fire safety statistics

Over the past 24 hours, the Fire Safety and Population Protection teams have responded to a total of 188 incident reports. Statistics show that 140 fires were extinguished, and unfortunately, two citizens were injured.

Important: Be careful when handling appliances and sources of fire to prevent accidents.

Distribution of fires

There were 30 fires involving direct material damage, with the highest number occurring in:

  • Residential buildings: 7
  • Vehicles: 8
  • Auxiliary or makeshift structures: 6
  • Other locations, including forests and outdoor facilities: 9

Rescue operations and calls

In addition to firefighting, the teams carried out 33 rescue operations. Four of these were related to road traffic accidents, and 26 were to provide assistance to other Ministry of Interior structures. There were also 15 false calls registered, which hinder the work of the services.
