Reorganization at the MRDPW: Merging of Key Directorates
The Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works (MRDPW) is undertaking a major administrative reform. Draft changes to the Rules of Organization provide for the merging of two key directorates – "Legal" and "Public Procurement" – into a new structure called "Legal Activities".
The purpose of the change is to eliminate overlapping functions and improve coordination in conducting public procurement.
What are the specific changes?
- Reduction of staff: Out of a total of 41 positions in the two directorates, the new structure will have 35, which means a reduction of 6 employees.
- Efficiency: Faster document reconciliation and better control over administrative processes are expected.
- Optimization: The number of directorates in the general administration is reduced from six to five.
The reform is part of the government's measures to limit personnel costs by 10% and reduce intermediate management levels in the state administration.

Ей, здравейте! Четох коментарите, ама искам да кажа нещо допълнително. Разбирам притесненията на хората – винаги е неприятно като говорят за съкращения. Но мисля, че в случая с МРРБ има потенциал да стане нещо наистина полезно за България.
Абе, хора, сериозно ли?! Оптимизация... оптимизация... ама докога ще си лажем един друг!? Видях новината и веднага ми светна червено! Да, администрацията ни е тромава, да, има нужда от реформи – кой отрича? Но 10% съкращения на хора, които се опитват да свършат работа в тая корумпирана държава?! Това ли е решението? 🤙
