Although ant colonies do not have access to the internet or mobile devices, the communication between their inhabitants takes place with exceptional speed. All this is due to the language of chemistry - ants secrete various substances that serve as signals, transmitting information with incredible efficiency.
When an ant discovers a food source, it immediately releases pheromones that attract other ants to the location. Thanks to this chemical communication, the entire colony can be mobilized to collect the food resources in an extremely short time.
Similar to modern communication networks, ant colonies represent complex, self-organizing systems in which information is disseminated at high speed. Despite the lack of centralized management, ants demonstrate remarkable coordination, effectively distributing tasks and resources within the colony.
