Bulgaria's education ministry is launching a new platform that will give every school in the country free access to ready-made lesson plans, teaching projects and other resources, the ministry says. The platform launches today at the National STEM Center in Sofia Tech Park, and education minister Georgi Valchev will attend.
The platform includes materials from two Intel programmes recognised worldwide - "Skills for Innovation" and "AI for Youth". All schools will get free access.
The National STEM Center opens its new building at the end of September. It was built with money from Bulgaria's Recovery and Resilience Plan. Students will train there, Olympic teams will prepare there, and teachers will take courses there, along with hands-on workshops, competitions and other school programmes.
