International search ends with successful arrest in Stara Zagora

The precise police operation, carried out through joint efforts between Bulgarian and Greek law enforcement institutions, led to the detention of a woman of international significance. Officers from the "Search" sector of the General Directorate of National Police and the Regional Ministry of Interior in Stara Zagora conducted a large-scale operational search operation.

The detainee is the subject of a European Arrest Warrant issued by judicial authorities in Crete. The woman's criminal history includes a conviction for fraud, with the imposed sentence amounting to 11 years in prison, of which she is to serve 10 years.

The specific police intervention was finalized in the afternoon when the Bulgarian citizen was located and detained in a private residence in the territory of Dalbok village, located in the Stara Zagora municipality. The operation demonstrated the high effectiveness of international police cooperation.
