The precise police operation, carried out through joint efforts between Bulgarian and Greek law enforcement institutions, led to the detention of a woman of international significance. Officers from the "Search" sector of the General Directorate of National Police and the Regional Ministry of Interior in Stara Zagora conducted a large-scale operational search operation.
The detainee is the subject of a European Arrest Warrant issued by judicial authorities in Crete. The woman's criminal history includes a conviction for fraud, with the imposed sentence amounting to 11 years in prison, of which she is to serve 10 years.
